Exponent PR has made two key hires that significantly expanded its senior leadership team. Dave Fransen joined the agency as group account director to oversee client partnerships and reports directly to managing director Tom Lindell. Andrew Miller joined as an account director to manage numerous accounts and lead the agency’s earned media practice. Since being hired in March, both have helped add new clients to the roster and expand existing client relationships.
“As our world changes on an almost daily basis, building brand belief at the speed of culture is more important than ever,” said Lindell. “Dave and Andrew bring a strategic ability to blend real-world and brand truths while leveraging cultural moments that lead to unique consumer connections.”
Fransen is a multidimensional, results-focused leader with more than 20 years of experience leading the creation and execution of award-winning campaigns for top-tier brands like Heineken, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Dos Equis, Audi, and more. His work spans CPG, food and beverage, retail, sports marketing, recreational vehicles, financial services and B2B, and has touched virtually every discipline, from digital content development and advertising to public relations, experiential, paid and social media. Fransen most recently co-led the accounts practice at Fast Horse, managing the agency’s largest accounts. He also previously worked for Target and Weber Shandwick.
“Dave thinks like a CMO and understands the importance of developing ideas across paid, owned and earned that are integrated across disciplines, ensuring every campaign delivers the best possible results,” said Lindell.
“Exponent and Colle McVoy offer a powerful combination when it comes to offering innovative ideas that solve problems for clients, and I’m proud to join the team. But what excites me most is how much the agency values creativity and its dedication to integration under strong, unwavering leadership,” said Fransen.
Miller has more than 10 years of experience applying his public relations expertise to creative endeavors for big brands like Danone North America, Spalding, Belize Tourism Board, The Coca-Cola Company, General Mills, Heineken and others. Prior to Exponent PR, he was at ICF Next as a media relations craft leader. He also spent time at Fast Horse as media relations director.
“Andrew is a creative thinker and doer who is passionate about media relations and scaling ideas through integration across all of marketing,” said Lindell.
“Culture was the number-one reason I wanted to work for Exponent, and while I have yet to occupy the same office as my co-workers, the compassion and camaraderie within our community has been apparent since I came aboard,” Miller said.
Since the beginning of the year and despite the global pandemic, Exponent has brought on new accounts, including Deluxe Corporation and Burnett Dairy, as well as expanded existing relationships with 3M and Land O’Lakes.
