Exponent Hires Two to Firm's WellnessMINNEAPOLIS (October 6, 2005) — Exponent Public Relations is pleased to announce its latest pair of new hires, Andy Jacobson and Lisa Carlson. Andy Jacobson joins Exponent as a counselor and is managing assignments for the firm's Nestlé Purina and Intervet accounts. Jacobson arrives from Karwoski & Courage, where he managed influencer communications and issues management for a range of brands, including Sensodyne®, Polident® and Super Poli-Grip®. Jacobson holds a bachelor's degree in political science from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a master's degree in business communications from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. Lisa Carlson joins Exponent as an associate and is working on the United Health Foundation and Novartis Animal Health accounts. Carlson comes to Exponent from DeCare Dental in Eagan, Minn., where she worked in corporate communications. Carlson previously held positions at Fleishman-Hillard, Minneapolis. She graduated with a degree in organizational communications from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn.
